                DRESS CODE:



   FEMALES:

    BLACK LEOTARD (adv. ballet may wear any color)

     TIGHTS:  Pink for Ballet; Tan for Jazz & Tap
                        (Black Jazz Pants optional for Jazz & Tap)

     FOR HIP HOP:  Jazz pants worn with a leotard or fitted t-Shirt (no cropped tops)

     SHOES:  
                     Ballet: pink ballet slippers with elastic sewn on
                     Pointe: by permission only; will discuss with parent when appropriate
                     Jazz: black jazz shoes: NO sneakers
                     Tap:  Tan Capezio U-Shell Buckle for Levels I, II & III; Tan two inch character shoes for Advanced & Teen Tap
                     Hip Hop: Black dance sneakers

            *Please note, Art of Dance, LLC proudly provides its dancers with a Harlequin Liberty Sprung Floor with a 
             Harlequin Cascade top layer; this is the best floor for providing shock absorption, reducing stress on dancers
              ankles, knees and back. Our Harlequin floor system sits on top of a plywood sub-floor which provides an
              additional level of shock absorption (many dance studios just have a Marley surface over a regular hard wood floor

                                                                   a trial class, however no one is allowed to dance in socks or tights.

                                                                   Hair pulled off of the face and neck.

                                                                   BOYS:

                                                                   Plain white t-shirt and shorts or sweat pants
