                      a Creative Ballet Class

Children will enjoy this exciting and entertaining dance class that introduces classic ballet fundamentals and French ballet terminology, while they develop poise, correct body alignment, and positive self-image. Dancers experience classical ballet through imaginative stories, fun exercises and creative movement.  We focus on traditional techniques to properly strengthen the dancers’ bodies while building their self-confidence. Specific techniques covered will include a thorough warm-up, body alignment, simple musical rhythms, correct and safe execution of steps, center floor combinations and diagonal floor patterns.  Classical and contemporary children’s music will inspire dancers’ artistic creativity and movement.  Each session ends with an in-class family/friend observation.
